Weird Artifacts Since SL4 Final Release

I've been experiencing some strange artifacts since updating to the final release of SL4. At least that is when I think this starting showing up. Anyone else experiencing this? Here as an image:


I think the artifacts only occur when I have issued "draw" commands for points that are outside the bitmap.

That looks strange and the coordinates in the Draw methods are actually clamped to the borders.

Can you give some more details, share the code or an app that reproduces the problem?

  1. Are you sure it's related to SL4? Can you try it on a SL3 machine?
  2. Is it compiled against SL 4 or is the SL 4 runtime executing a  SL 3 bin?
  3. What Draw method is used?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. In the process of writing a quick sample to show the issue, I realized I had not been calling .Invalidate(). Added that and all is good! Thanks.

I love problems that solve itself. :-)

BTW, this often happens to me, writing a sample makes you recap the original code.
